Governor Hong Kong would greatly welcome

Object would short visit by Bourdillon while in Malaya. be to discuss general matters with those mentioned in paragraph 10 of my letter to Sidebotham of 19th January (For "psychology" in paragraph (c) read "psychological moment"). From my discussions with unofficial members of Executive and Legislative Councils, I am sure that visit would not only be welcome in Hong Kong but would be good

Four days would be enough, value from C.O. point of view. two in Hong Kong and one travelling each way.
